Papers primarily consist of personal letters received from Fanny Hart, Mrs. Nathan S. Hart, and Nina Katherine Hart, 1898-1919, concerning requests for research assistance, health, visits, demands of work, family and vacation plans, Wylie's life with her companion Gertrude Buck, Fanny and Katherine's work, and other activities, with a few letters to Fanny Hart from Gertrude Buck. Other correspondence, 1923-1961, includes Wylie's letters to Fanny Borden, Vassar College Librarian, about publications and letters by others concerning the Wylie Memorial Fund, set up by Wylie's bequest to encourage friendly relations between Vassar College and the local community. Other items include clippings, publications, photographs, and postcards.
